Candy Marballi Interviewed for The Dove TV

After the National Press Release announced the Illumination Award for the kids’ book, I received an email of enquiry from The Dove Christian television station requesting a copy of The Power of the Prayer Covenant for Kids. Polina, the Executive Producer, loved the book and asked if I would be willing to do a SKYPE interview for the last segment of their morning show. As I welcome every opportunity to share all things Prayer Covenant, I agreed to the interview. You can view it below.

It was after the interview I realized how unpredictable this journey has been. The kids’ ministry is young; a little over a year and a half. It began with a simple prayer asking God to show me what He wanted me to teach the children’s choir in the Fall quarter. And through a series of subsequent steps, the kids’ prayer covenant came about. Did I know there would be a book? No, but God did. Did I know it would be available in other languages? No, but God did. Did I know it would be used around the world? Not a clue. And that’s what makes serving God such an adventure. We never know from one day to the next where He will take us on our journey. What story He will write through us. What work he will establish us. We don’t even know if we will see fruit. We simply trust–trust in our omni-present, omniscient God; trust in our benevolent Father; trust in the unfailing power of His Holy Spirit.

It is our Great Shepherd who leads us through challenges and victories, doubts and insecurities, on a narrow, stony path. He charts our course. I look back on my life and realize every step of the way, He was preparing me for this present journey. Reflect with me on one of Fanny Crosby’s most loved hymns, All the Way My Savior Leads Me.

All the way my Savior leads me;
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my Guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well;
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well.
