Together – We Are Reaching Children Across the USA
Our Scripture today is found in Ephesians 4:16, “From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”
Since the beginning of The Prayer Covenant for Children, God has opened many doors for us as a ministry to partner with others to share the love of God and encourage children and adults in the USA to develop a life of prayer. Through these God-given opportunities, we have seen the ten discipleship themes of the prayer introduced to children and their families in ways we never thought possible. We want to share with you just a few of the exciting open doors which we have been blessed with in 2020.
Every Home for Christ
Every Home for Christ is currently reaching and praying for 342,012 homes per day in 130 countries worldwide. Their incredible goal is to reach every home for Christ within the United States and abroad. The Prayer Covenant has helped EHC to create a beautiful Prayer Covenant for Children “good news engager” entitled, The Lost Sheep. According to EHC, they will use this as one of the tools for reaching children worldwide, and they have already started translations in other languages. They’ve printed over 1.5 million of these evangelistic tools.
Go2020 Kids
The Prayer Covenant is one of the strategic resources for Go2020 kids. Global Outreach Day is trusting God to raise up believers to see a decade of harvest as they continue their focus on prayer and evangelism for the lost within their communities around the world. Our leaders are equipping children with the Prayer Covenant to pray and share Jesus with their family and friends both here at home and around the world. God is up to something big. He has the attention of the world. So many are hungry for the hope and peace found only in Christ. I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. John 4:35
Urban Hope NYC
In one of the most influential cities in the world, and indeed a city that needs to be impacted by the Gospel, David Beidel, President of Urban Hope NYC, helps to oversee 2,500 churches in the 5 Burroughs of New York City, and is one of the key catalysts that launched the “Saturate” Movement. David is passionate to see up to one million children reached with The Prayer Covenant in 2020. As a ministry we have provided him with over 200,000 prater covenant resources for NYC, 100,000 for Philadelphia and 100,000 for Puerto Rico. In addition, every home for Christ has provided David with over one million Lost Sheep Engagers.
The examples above are just a few of the ways God is using The Prayer Covenant ministry to reach children in the USA and around the world in ways we could not possibly accomplish on our own. Our prayer is that through these partnerships, and others like them, God will unify our efforts and help us to reach every child and every home for His Kingdom!
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for all the opportunities you have given The Prayer Covenant to partner with others who share the common goal of reaching others for your glory and kingdom. We pray you will bless each of our ministry partners and continue to guide them in all they do. We also pray for additional open doors, that in the coming days, you will help to create more relationships that will allow us to teach everyone around the world the power of prayer.
